  1. Booking and enquiries

A booking is not confirmed until Mia Rose Photography has accepted the booking and, where requested, received any required booking fee or deposit.

Mia Rose Photography reserves the right to decline any enquiry or booking request at its discretion, including where dates are unavailable, venue conditions are unsuitable, or the requested services fall outside the scope of work offered.

You are responsible for providing accurate information when making an enquiry or booking, including contact details, location, session requirements, and any relevant timing constraints.

  1. Prices and payment

All prices are stated in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

Prices shown on the website are for general guidance only and may be updated from time to time. A confirmed quote or invoice issued to you will take precedence over any general website pricing.

Payment terms, including deposits, balance due dates, late payment terms, rescheduling fees, travel charges, rush editing charges, and print or product costs, will be communicated at the time of booking.

Where a deposit is required, the date and time may remain provisional until that deposit has been received.

  1. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, you should give as much notice as possible.

Deposits and booking fees are generally non-refundable unless Mia Rose Photography cancels the booking or agrees otherwise in writing.

Where a session is rescheduled due to illness, unsafe weather, venue restrictions, travel disruption, emergency, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, Mia Rose Photography will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative date.

Mia Rose Photography may reschedule or cancel a booking where necessary due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, or events outside reasonable control. In such cases, liability will be limited to rebooking the session or refunding sums already paid for the affected services, unless otherwise required by law.

  1. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate booking information
Ensuring timely access to the agreed location
Obtaining any permissions required for the chosen venue
Ensuring children are supervised at all times
Ensuring the environment is safe and suitable for the session
Arriving on time for studio, location, or event sessions
Reviewing proofs, galleries, selections, and approvals within any stated deadlines

Mia Rose Photography is not responsible for reduced coverage or missed images caused by lateness, non-cooperation of participants, venue restrictions, poor lighting, weather limitations, third-party interference, or inaccurate instructions provided by the client.

  1. Creative style and artistic discretion

When you book Mia Rose Photography, you acknowledge that photography is a creative service. Artistic style, composition, editing choices, colour grading, use of film or digital methods, and image selection remain at the professional discretion of Mia Rose Photography.

The final delivered images will reflect Mia Rose Photography’s creative judgment and established photographic style. Requests for specific poses, edits, shots, or visual references will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Turnaround times and delivery

Any turnaround times shown on the website or mentioned during enquiries are estimates only and not guaranteed deadlines unless expressly agreed in writing. The current website refers to galleries typically being delivered within 2 to 3 days and highlights quick delivery, but this may vary depending on workload, season, service type, retouching level, print fulfilment, and other practical factors.

Digital files, proofs, private online galleries, edited images, print orders, canvases, and photobooks will be delivered within a reasonable time, subject to the agreed package and production requirements.

You are responsible for downloading and securely storing digital files once delivered. Mia Rose Photography does not guarantee indefinite online storage of galleries or files unless expressly agreed.

  1. Private galleries and image selection

Where private online galleries are provided, access is for the named client and any persons authorised by that client.

You must keep gallery links and any passwords secure. Mia Rose Photography is not responsible for unauthorised access caused by you sharing gallery access details with others.

Where image selection is required, you must submit your choices within any time period notified to you. If selections are not received within that period, Mia Rose Photography may, at its discretion, archive the gallery, apply a reactivation fee, or select images on your behalf.

  1. Prints, canvases and photobooks

Prints, canvases, albums, and photobooks are bespoke products. Colours and finishes may vary slightly between screens, proofs, materials, and printed results.

Once a print or product order has been approved by you and submitted for production, it may not be possible to cancel or amend it.

Unless faulty or not as described, personalised or bespoke products are generally non-refundable in accordance with applicable consumer law exemptions.

You should inspect all delivered products promptly and notify Mia Rose Photography within a reasonable time if there is any issue with damage, defect, or production error.

  1. Kids parties and downloadable PDF materials

Where a private PDF or similar downloadable information pack is made available in connection with kids party services or other services, that material is provided for your personal use only.

You must not copy, distribute, sell, publish, or adapt any such material without prior written permission.

  1. Tutoring and lessons

Photography tutoring and lessons are provided for educational purposes. Any course outline, teaching material, examples, downloadable content, or support resources remain the intellectual property of Mia Rose Photography unless otherwise stated.

Tutoring outcomes depend on individual participation, prior knowledge, practice, and circumstances. No guaranteed result or professional outcome is promised.

  1. Website content and intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, logos, layouts, downloads, galleries, graphics, course materials, and other media, is owned by or licensed to Mia Rose Photography unless otherwise stated.

  1. Copyright in photographs

Copyright in all photographs and related works created by Mia Rose Photography remains with Mia Rose Photography unless expressly assigned in writing.

When digital images are supplied to you, this usually means you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those images for private and non-commercial purposes, including sharing with family and friends and posting on personal social media accounts.

You must not sell the images, enter them into competitions under another name, submit them for commercial publication, edit them beyond normal cropping for personal use, or allow third-party commercial use without written permission.

If you wish to use any image for commercial, editorial, promotional, or business purposes, you must obtain written permission in advance and any additional fee may apply.

  1. Client content and permissions

If you provide any content, mood boards, venue materials, branding assets, or instructions, you confirm that you have the right to provide them and that their use will not infringe any third-party rights.

You are responsible for obtaining permission from any venue or property owner where photography restrictions may apply.

  1. Social media and portfolio use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Mia Rose Photography may use selected images for portfolio, website, blog, competition, studio sample, exhibition, advertising, and social media purposes.

If you would prefer that certain images, or images of children, are not used publicly, you should notify Mia Rose Photography in writing before or at the time of booking. Any agreed usage restriction will apply only once expressly accepted.

  1. Promotions and offers

Any promotions, introductory offers, referral offers, or discounts displayed on the website or social media are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time unless already confirmed as part of an accepted booking.

Promotions cannot normally be combined unless expressly stated.

  1. Third-party links and tools

This website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, galleries, payment providers, social media services, WhatsApp, download services, or embedded tools. Mia Rose Photography is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site or service.

Your use of third-party platforms is subject to their own terms and policies.

  1. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to that, Mia Rose Photography shall not be liable for:

Any indirect or consequential loss

Delays caused by events outside reasonable control
Dissatisfaction based solely on artistic preference where services were performed with reasonable care and skill

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability arising out of or in connection with any website use, booking, or service shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service giving rise to the claim.

  1. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK consumer law.

Where you purchase services at a distance, you may have cancellation rights under consumer legislation, although these rights may be affected where services are scheduled for a specific date or where bespoke products are ordered. Details can be provided at the time of booking where relevant.
